Passenger Luggage

In Switzerland items contained in luggage have to be prevented from boarding flights for safety reasons over 12,000 times a year. The risk is not always immediately obvious to passengers. The FOCA is committed to helping to raise passenger awareness and in turn improve safety.

In order for passengers to be able to prepare for their journey in good time, the FOCA provides information on the most common articles likely to present a risk. (Any lists make no claim to be exhaustive.)
