Air Navigation Obstacles

Facilities, as wells as buildings, cable lifts, power lines, antennas, or metal cables and lines can be flight obstacles if their presence constitutes a threat to aviation, or the operation of facilities that could affect aviation safety.
Possible flight obstacles need to be registered with FOCA using forms on this page, and submitted by Cantonal authorities. The purpose of the registration procedure is to assess obstacle dangers, and publish them on a map. Published obstacles are constantly updated for pilots of all categories.

Since the beginning of January 2007 air navigation obstacles have been available on paper. They are now electronically available for download at the swisstopo website.
