Airspace users in this category have the right of way over other airspace users, except for balloons, and only need an “out” function to be electronically visible to others. The FOCA is exploring the ability to accept a digital paraglider registration transmitted via ADS-L, as an alternative to attaching the number to the fabric of the glider. The VKZ will require a change to implement this, and it is currently not known which devices will receive a software upgrade for this functionality.
