The Aviation Policy and Strategy division defines the general conditions for the sustainable development of civil aviation in Switzerland. It takes account of all three associated elements, i.e. economic, ecological and social sustainability, and is responsible for ensuring that Switzerland plays an appropriate role within civil aviation organisations, both in Europe and throughout the world.
It comprises the following sections: Processes; Sectoral Plan and Aviation Facilities; Environmental Affairs; Legal and International Affairs; Economic Affairs.
