FASST-CH Action plan
Four main steps are planned to implement the 2028 i-conspicuity ecosystem:
- Implement an e-conspicuity mandate in Switzerland. The mandate considers the use of Mode-S transponders, as well as broadcasting technologies (ADS-B Out and ADS-L Out) to ensure a balanced and pragmatic approach to different conspicuity needs.
- Develop an i-conspicuity concept of operations followed by a proof of concept. As part of this, FASST-CH, together with stakeholders, will explore and validate the different possible use cases and supporting services/technologies
- Promote e-conspicuity technologies to encourage their adoption in general aviation and ensure full visibility in class E and G airspaces
- Establish a ground-based infrastructure for data collection and seamless exchange of traffic information with all participants in air traffic and aviation safety in real time.
