SASOC - Swiss Aviation Safety and Operations Conference
The Federal Office of Civil Aviation held the first Swiss Aviation Safety and Operations Conference (SASOC) in May 2022 - a conference to promote and ensure the exchange of information and knowledge within the aviation industry in Switzerland.

Ballone (Kinderballone und Freiballone)
Handelsübliche Ballone (Kinderballone, Partyballone, Freiballone usw.) dürfen in der Regel ohne Bewilligung steigen gelassen werden. Die meisten Einschränkungen gelten im Umkreis von 5 km um eine Flugpiste. Grundsätzlich können Ballone mit weniger als 30 m3 Inhalt ohne Bewilligung des BAZL steigen gelassen werden. Von diesem allgemeinen Grundsatz gibt es hingegen auch einige Ausnahmen. Dies ist z.B. der Fall, wenn eine gewisse Grösse oder Nutzlast erreicht wird oder sich in der Nähe ein Flugplatz befindet.
