2. Swiss Aviation Safety and Operations Conference (SASOC) 2024

The second edition of the Safety and Operators Conference (SASOC) took place on 3 May 2024. This conference aims to promote the exchange of information and knowledge within the Swiss aviation industry and was complemented by the field of aircraft airworthiness.

The experts were able to gain a general overview of safety in Swiss civil aviation. Presentations were also given on topical issues such as ‘artificial intelligence’ and ‘GPS malfunctions’.

In the afternoon, some 200 participants discussed specific topics relating to oversight (complex aircraft, helicopters, flight schools, general aviation and airworthiness), as well as safety and risk management.
