Special Category Aircraft
Aircraft of the special category do not comply with the internationally recognized airworthiness requirements according to ICAO Annex 8. They are classified into the following subcategories according to Articles 3, Paragraphs 2, 3, and 4 of the Regulation on the Airworthiness of Aircraft (VLL; SR 748.215.1):
