L’OFAC publie de «Guidance Material/Information (GM/INFO)» en fonction du type d’exploitation. Ces documents, qui s‘adressent aux exploitants, indiquent les justificatifs et la documentation à fournir, donnent des instructions sur la manière de définir les procédures et les formations et sur la manière de mettre à jour l’OM System.
Les GM/INFO avec l'addition «Certification Leaflet (CL)» comprennent une liste de contrôle à l'usage des rédacteurs et des inspecteurs. Ils proposent également de nombreux modèles qui peuvent repris ou adaptés en fonction des besoins, l'objectif étant de raccourcir le processus de certification.
