Known Consignor
Known consignors send air cargo or airmail in their own name and for their own account, and have to comply with the relevant security regulations and standards.
All items of cargo and all mail consignments are subjected to security checks before they are loaded onto the aircraft. Airlines only accept items of cargo and mail consignments for carriage if the airline itself or a known consignor has carried out the necessary security check.
