As civil aviation becomes increasingly digital and many systems and processes rely on IT and network technologies, cybersecurity has become a key issue. From aircraft technology to passenger data and airport infrastructure, robust security measures and contingency plans must be in place to minimise security risks and the occurrence of outages and data theft. According to EU 965/2012 ORO.MLR.100, the processes for ground handling are to be described in the OM of the flight operation.

All processes, instructions and information required in accordance with ORO.MLR.100 as well as all policies and work instructions directed at the personnel of the operator in connection with flight operations and its safe conduct, shall be recorded in the OM.

On 01 January 2018 the revision of the legal basis concerning radiological protection, the new Radiological Protection Ordinance entered into force.
