Notification of non-scheduled flights between the Russian Federation and Switzerland (direct or via third countries)

In accordance with the Swiss Ordinance on measures in connection with the situation in the Ukraine (SR.046.231.176.72), aircraft operators of non-scheduled flights between the Russian Federation and Switzerland, operated directly or via a third country, must notify all relevant information concerning the flight to the Federal Office of Civil Aviation FOCA prior to their operation, and at least 48 hours in advance. Please use the form below in order to submit the requested information.

I herewith confirm that I act in conformity with the Swiss Ordinance on Measures in Connection with the Situation in Ukraine (SR 946.231.176.72). According to its Article 29a, in particular, take-off from and landing in the territory of Switzerland as well as overflying Swiss territory are prohibited for the following aircrafts:

• Aircrafts of Russian air carriers with an operating licence or equivalent authorisation from the Russian authorities, including aircraft operated by these carriers under code-share or blocked-space arrangements;
• Aircrafts registered in Russia or owned, chartered or otherwise controlled by Russian natural or legal persons, entities or bodies.
