The Safety and Operators Conference (SASOC), a platform for the exchange of information and knowledge within the Swiss aviation industry, took place on May 3, 2024.
The conference was aimed at experts such as Accountable Managers, Safety Managers, Nominated Persons Flight Ops and Crew Training, as well as flight school managers.
Once again this year, the FOCA presented an overview of safety in Swiss civil aviation as well as current topics such as AI and GPS interference. In the afternoon, the more than 200 participants exchanged views on topics from the areas of supervision, helicopters and safety & risk management.
The next SASOC will take place in 2026.
