Airspace E « Airspace Echo - you are not alone! »

Airspace E is used for VFR and IFR flights. Air traffic control is not required to separate aircraft in this airspace. Airspace users must therefore always be aware of which airspace they are in, actively monitor this and operate according to the principle of ‘see and avoid'. Only that way can the airspace be shared safely.

With this awareness campaign the Federal Office for Civil Aviation (FOCA) intends to make the aviation community attentive on this safety problem.
