Design organisations design aircraft and aircraft parts or changes for these. They have to proceed in accordance with exactly defined procedures. At the end approved data for products (aircraft, engines and propellers), parts, equipment, changes or repairs will be issued. The requirements for the issuance, renewal and extension of an approval depend on the regulations of EASA Part 21 Subpart J.
