This division is in charge of safety in the areas of airports and air traffic control, as well as security measures. It ensures that infrastructure operators abide by national and international safety standards and guidelines, and supervises the approval and certification of organisations, facilities and procedures, as well as the licensing of specialised personnel.
It prepares safety reports and supervises infrastructure operations by carrying out audits and inspections. It comprises four sections: Standardisation and Enforcement; Aerodromes and Air Navigation Obstacles; Security; Air Navigation Services; Airspace.
