This division is responsible for the supervision of private and commercial flight operations in Switzerland. It issues all operating licences and all necessary certificates, and secures the permanent supervision of flight operations. In addition, it is responsible for the licensing of flight personnel and for securing the smooth operation of aeromedical services.
Safety Division – Flight Operations comprises the following sections: Standardisation and Enforcement; Operation of Complex Aircraft; Special Inspectorates; Training Organisations and Light Aircraft Operations; Helicopter Flight Operations; Flight Personnel; Aeromedical Services.
