On the one hand, the LESI organisational unit works with foresight on a sustainable and efficient airspace and aviation infrastructure - among other things, by managing the two strategic projects AVISTRAT-CH (National Airspace and Aviation Infrastructure Strategy) and LFN (Low Flight Network).
On the other hand, LESI ensures that Switzerland remains a competitive location for innovation and digitalisation in aviation and that the Office can efficiently perform its function as an enabler in the sense of sustainable integration of innovative Swiss products and services into the global aviation system.
