Medicinal and toiletry articles are generally allowed, with some exceptions. The following points must be taken into consideration:

• The total net amount of the carried articles may only be 2 kg or 2 l, and
• the net amount of each article may only be 0.5 kg or 0.5 l.
• Release valves of pressurised gas containers (aerosols) must be secured by protective caps or by other means in order to avoid accidental release of the contents.

Frequently used medicinal or toiletry articles and their categorisation are mentioned in the following list:

Medicines (containing alcohol)
Mercury thermometer (medical or clinical) maximum one (1) piece per person for personal use, when in its protective case			max. 1 piece
Spray cans / Aerosols (cosmetic or medical) for sporting or home use, non-flammable, non-toxic and without any subsidiary risk
Hair curlers (containing hydrocarbon gas) One (1) piece per passenger. The safety cover MUST be securely fitted over the heating element. Never use hair curlers on-board the aircraft		max. 1 piece	max. 1 piece
