We welcome you to the world of drones!
You must observe the following points in order to fly or operate a drone:
Registration
As the operator of a drone, you must be registered. Once registration is complete, you will receive a UAS operator number, which has to be prominently displayed on the drone. Please find instructions and more information on the registration process under registration.
Pilot Certificates
Most pilots also need drone certificates which require training and examination. Exception: people who fly a drone under 250g. Even here though, we highly recommend taking the training. You can find more information under open category as well as under certificates.
Drone guide
Our drone guide provides guidance especially for the open category. With this guide, you can find out whether you have to register, which exams are necessary in your case and which rules you need to follow.
