Lessons Learned From Occurrence Reports

Swiss aviation stakeholders are reporting occurrences to the FOCA that could potentially compromise the safety of civil aviation. Occurrences are handled confidentially and are entered in an anonymous form in the FOCA database.

All reported events are assessed and analysed by the FOCA. Conclusions that are beneficial to other parties involved in the civil aviation system are published under the heading «Lessons Learned from Occurrence Reports». The aim of this publication is to help prevent similar events in the future and to increase safety in civil aviation.
